At the Feb. 24, 2026, District 28 Board of Education meeting, the Board approved Alanna Lambert as the new Assistant Director of Student Services at Greenbriar School.

At the February 24 Board meeting, the Board approved Happ Builders, Inc. to build the new Meadowbrook School, as part of the district's Build 28 construction initiative.

Greenbriar Music Teacher Jeremy Bartunek attended a red-carpet gala at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center, where he was one of just 30 educators nationwide to be recognized as a 2025 Country Music Association (CMA) Foundation Music Teacher of Excellence.
